eeS-Pee-Cee-Ayy.

Going into the Robert G. Theater to watch the SPCA slide-show presented by Jasinta Johnson, the education officer from the SPCA, I thought that it will be completely boring. But I got attracted to it slowly by every minute. The slide-show was all about "The 6 Pillars of the SPCA". 'SPCA' basically stands for 'Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals'. Just looking at the pictures of abused, injured dogs and cats, I felt like I was about to cry infront of everyone. But I hold it in, not wanting to humiliate myself right infront of the teachers, the woman, and the whole grade.

The SPCA takes care of homeless, abused or injured animals. The woman also said that there are 75% that there are animals who have to be put to sleep. Feel sad, mad at the people who abused their pets, feel really bad for the animals? Then be useful and help SPCA and also make a difference in the world...

  • Donate supplies like: newspapers, food, collars, cages, anything that you think can help the animals.
  • Adopt dog/cat from SPCA, do not buy from pet store.
  • Volunteer to help out the people who are working there once in a while for example; clean the cages, give the animals food/drink, play with them, etc.
  • Be smart and tell other people about SPCA. Maybe they want a pet, and if they do, make sure you tell them to adopt one from SPCA.

If you're a perfect brilliant genius like I am, you would know that animals are like human, like us. I mean, you don't want to treated with cruelty, well so does animals. They deserves freedom and anything humans have. We may be stronger than them, but we still don't want to be abused and injured.

Just the second I stepped out of the theater, I knew I had, I just HAD to do something for these animals. I wanted to make another difference. And not only me, anybody can. Even if you donated a small tiny thing, you still donated, tryed to help out and..well, made a difference.
So be smart and think. Wouldn't you want help from people if you were homeless? Yes, you would. Everyone would. And guess what? These animals is also wanting your help. So please just do something for them. Alright? Heh...
